Alcohol and Drug Support in Falkirk

Falkirk Alcohol and Drug Partnership is planning how it will deliver future substance use services in the local area. Services include:

  • community-based alcohol and drug assessments
  • community key worker support and links to clinical care, social care, housing, justice, family support, and recovery communities.
  • Psychosocial support, such as behavioural therapy and social network support.
  • Care coordination, risk management, and recovery planning.
  • Harm reduction provision and outreach services.
  • Family support.
  • Recovery community support.
  • Early intervention and prevention support.

The Partnership is considering three ways it could deliver these services and wants to gather views about each option. A consultation is open until 16 October.

The Partnership is gathering views by running a survey and holding a series of workshops and community events with people who access support and work in local services.

We’re gathering views by:

  • Running an online survey until 16 October.
  • Inviting staff and professionals to a multi-agency workshop.
  • Working with Recovery Scotland to host conversation cafes
  • Hosting a workshop with the Authentic Voices Group.
  • Inviting Third Sector organisations to a forum, with the help of CVS Falkirk.
  • Hosting a workshop with the ADP Executive
