Voice of Tenant and Landlord Surveys: Findings Webinar

We intend to offer an updated webinar, next year which will share a comparison between the results of Wave 1 and Wave 2.

This Webinar was aimed at private sector tenants, landlords and letting agents. It is also open to anyone interested in the findings.

It was going to present the findings from the first wave of the Voice of the Tenant and Voice of the Landlord surveys. These surveys were funded by the SafeDeposits Scotland Charitable Trust and conducted between August and October 2024, with input from 1,000 tenants and 1,190 landlords. 

The surveys capture experiences across affordability, conditions, and legislative change and will be run annually to track trends and emerging issues over time.

Background:

• The SafeDeposits Charitable Trust (SDSCT) is a grant-giving charity aimed at promoting education, training, and best practice in Scotland’s private rented sector. SDSCT are funded by donations from SafeDeposits Scotland – part of the TDS Group, operator of the leading tenancy deposit schemes across the UK which operates on a not-for-profit basis.
