Slamannan - Your Vote Counts
As part of Falkirk Council's Tenants Choice programme, the Slamannan Action Group are eligible for funding to install a noticeboard and additional bench in the Slamannan area.
They are asking for your support in this project. Having a noticeboard in a place that is central to the community would mean that tenants and residents that do not use social media or the centre will be able to access notices informing them of village notices and events. Having an additional bench in place will encourage locals to use the area more often.
The bench will be located here (blue circle).
The noticeboard will be located here (on the corner).
As part of the Tenants Choice application process, tenants and residents of Slamannan are asked to vote in favour or not in favour of installing these.
We ask you to take part by completing the quick poll below. The poll will be open between 3 June 2024 and 1st July 2024. The group require at least 60 votes from tenants and residents for the project to go ahead.

Results
We will share the results of the polling with Slamannan Action Group and then post them here to let participants know the outcome.
The Slamannan Action Group applied for funding from Tenant Choices, to be eligible for the funding the group needed support from the community for their proposal to install a noticeboard and bench. The group required at least 60 votes for the funding to be awarded. The group received 5 votes for the project-the decision therefore is not to award the funding.
