Adoption of Falkirk Local Development Plan 3 (LDP3)

10 January 2028 00:00 - No end date

Falkirk Council makes the required modifications to the Proposed Plan for LDP3 and then adopts it. On adoption, the Proposed Plan replaces Falkirk Local Development Plan 2 and becomes part of the statutory development plan alongside the National Planning Framework. There will be a six week period after the Proposed Plan is adopted when someone can make a legal challenge questioning the validity of the plan. Within 3 months of the plan being adopted, the Council must adopt and publish the LDP3 Delivery Programme.

The public will be notified of the plan's adoption through the Council's website and an advert in local newspapers. People who made representations on the Proposed Plan will also be informed.
