Falkirk Local Development Plan 3 (LDP3)

The Proposed Plan for the Falkirk Local Development Plan 3 will be published for a minimum 12 week consultation period. During this period, formal representations in support of, or objecting to, the Proposed Plan can be submitted to the Council. We will publicise the public consultation extensively through local newspapers, our e-mailings, neighbour notification and on the Council's website and social media.

The Proposed Plan will be accompanied by a Proposed LDP3 Delivery Programme and the Strategic Environmental Assessment (SEA) Environmental Report. Other key assessments and information, such as the Site Assessment Report, will be published too.

All representations submitted will be assessed following the consultation. The Council may make modifications to the Proposed Plan to resolve issues raised in representations. Modifications, if any, will be published in a publicly available modifications report. This report will provide the details of, and reasons for, modifications subsequently made to the Proposed Plan. Unresolved issues still arising from representations will be considered by an independent person, called a reporter, at the Examination.
