Kinneil Estate Urban Woodland Management Plan

This survey is being undertaken by the Green Action Trust on behalf of Falkirk Council. The goal of this survey is to inform a woodland management plan which will unlock grant funding for improvements to make Kinneil a better place for people and wildlife.

We would like to know how you use the site presently, what you like about the site and what you feel could be improved.  We also want to find out your opinion on the necessary felling work that's to be scheduled, and what species you’d like to see replanted. The plan to fell and replant (originally in 4-phases) was previously agreed as part of a ‘Long term Forest Plan’ (LTFP) for the site. The first part of the LTFP has already been delivered. Our proposal for the next phase of woodland management is an updated version of this plan. The areas already completed and areas to be felled/replanted can be seen on our webpage: https://greenactiontrust.org/kinneil-estate-woods-management-survey/

Please take a few minutes to answer the questions below. Whilst all suggestions regarding woodland management are warmly welcomed, financial constraints may mean some are out with the scope of implementation.
