Independent Advocacy in Falkirk

Falkirk Health and Social Care Partnership (HSCP) delivers adult social care services and community health services in the Falkirk area so people can get the right care and support whatever their needs, at the right time and in the right setting.

Falkirk HSCP is developing their Independent Advocacy Strategic Plan 2025-2028.

Independent advocacy is central to reducing inequalities, promoting self-determination, and increasing the self-esteem of adults who have had their voice fully heard. We recognise the ways in which independent advocacy can help achieve our priorities for Falkirk and the critical role independent advocacy plays in achieving our vision for improved health and social care outcomes.

We want our plan to be adaptable, responsive to changing needs, and focused on enhancing the wellbeing of those who require advocacy support.

To get this right, it is important we engage and consult with our partners, workforce, and the communities we serve.

We'd like you to consider an individual response or get together with your team or community members to discuss. We want to hear your views and ideas - don't hold back!
