Integration of Children’s Social Work and Justice Services

A programme board has been convened to consider the integration of Falkirk Council’s Children and Families Social Work Services and Justice Social Work Services into Falkirk Health and Social Care Partnership.

The programme board is now gathering views to inform recommendations to Falkirk Council and the Integration Joint Board in January 2025.

It is expected that any integration of services would take place from April 2025 – subject to the necessary approval and planning processes.

Consultation is underway with staff, partner organisations, and the local community to gather views about the proposed integration of services. Following the consultation period, feedback will be compiled into the report and final recommendations which will be presented to Falkirk Council and the Integration Joint Board in January 2025. If approved, the integration of services would be expected from April 2025.

This survey complements direct engagement activity we are undertaking with colleagues, elected members, and other partner organisations.
