Housing Services Performance Report to Tenants

The Housing (Scotland) Act 2001 requires social landlords to consult tenants and take account of their views when making decisions about proposed housing activities.   

The Scottish Social Housing Charter sets the standards and outcomes that all social landlords in Scotland should aim to achieve when performing their housing activities. 

As a registered social landlord Falkirk Council Housing Services are regulated by the Scottish Housing Regulator who monitor our performance against the standards and outcomes of the Scottish Social Housing Charter via our Annual Return on the Charter (ARC).   

Each year we produce a landlord report which includes a summary of our performance in the ARC. The report outlines how we have performed in the previous year against the set of standards that are laid out by the Scottish Housing Regulator. A copy of our latest landlord report is available here.   

If anyone would like to volunteer to help shape the final version of the report or become a member of our Service Improvement Scrutiny Group, we would love to hear from you. Our Service Improvement Scrutiny Group is a panel of tenant volunteers who work with us to scrutinise performance and help shape the delivery of your housing service.
