Gray Buchanan Park Play Area Upgrade

Falkirk Council are carrying out consultation with the local community to upgrade Gray Buchanan Park play area.

There will be two different surveys to complete. The first is the "Play Area Upgrade: Requirements Survey", we will ask you what you would like to see within the park and we will use the results to instruct a brief for play providers.

We will then invite play companies to tender for this project.

The second survey will be published after we have received designs back from play providers. We will put these designs to the community and ask you to vote for your favourite. Your vote will directly influence the tender results.

Under 12's are unable to use this platform. An alternative survey can be found here:

https://forms.office.com/e/kgyG7PQF43

We will then provide feedback of the full process to you on conclusion of the project.

Feedback

27 January 2025 00:00 - 1 March 2025 00:00

Thank you everyone who took part in this survey

Respondents from Polmont and the wider Falkirk Council Area have shown a preference for the Kompan design for the Gray Buchanan Park Play Area Upgrade, with a significant number of individuals across various age groups, particularly those aged 30-45, favouring this option. Hags is the second most popular choice, also receiving considerable support from the community, including one response on behalf of an organisation . The Sutcliffe design has been selected by a smaller group of participants. The majority of respondents are individuals, with a notable representation from those aged 61+ and 30-45. There is a clear trend of individual preferences rather than organisational representation in the feedback provided.

The winning design below from Kompan will be installed in the park and will hopefully be complete by the Easter Holidays for all to enjoy
