Grangemouth Transport Study
This survey is being carried out by Stantec UK Ltd on behalf of Falkirk Council. The information gathered will only be used by Falkirk Council or Stantec on their behalf for the purposes of this research and will not be shared with any other parties. The survey is intended to be anonymous and your responses should not include any personal information that may identify you. Personal information will be removed.
Falkirk Council has long recognised several of the transport challenges facing Grangemouth, both for residents and those who travel to the town to work. In response to the opportunities presented by the Falkirk Growth Deal, Forth Ports Green Freeport and evolving industrial base, the Council is seeking to establish an evidence base and strategic framework within which future transport investment proposals can be developed.
The first step in this process involves undertaking an 'Initial Appraisal - Case for Change' in accordance with the Scottish Transport Appraisal Guidance (STAG), the Scottish Government's framework within which all transport investment proposals must be developed. The 'Case for Change' is focused on establishing and evidencing the transport problems experienced by those who live in Grangemouth or travel to the town and thereafter defining the desired outcomes from any future investment. The Grangemouth area the survey refers to, is shown in the picture below.
To support the development of the 'Case for Change', we are seeking through this survey to obtain a full understanding of local travel behaviour and any problems associated with these journeys. The survey focuses on journeys to, from and within Grangemouth and considers all transport modes.
The survey should take no longer than around 10 minutes to complete.
You must be 13 or over to complete the survey.
