Falkirk Learning Disability Strategy
Falkirk Health and Social Care Partnership (HSCP) delivers adult social care services and community health services in the Falkirk area so people can get the right care and support whatever their needs, at the right time and in the right setting.
Over the next few months, the Falkirk Learning Disability Team will be developing a five-year strategy and delivery plan to improve outcomes for people living with learning disabilities in the Falkirk area.
We want to hear the views of people living with learning disabilities and their carers/families as well as staff to help inform the strategy and the development of local learning disability services.
If you have any questions, please contact: HSCPComms@falkirk.gov.uk
Phases
Feedback and next steps
Thank you to everyone who told us their views throughout the engagement process. Your feedback has been instrumental in helping to shape the development of the strategy and delivery plan. Please read the feedback report attached.
We presented the strategy to the HSCP Senior Leadership Team on the 10 October. They were extremely positive about the strategy and its aims, but provided helpful feedback around the delivery plan.
Following their feedback, the Falkirk Learning Disability Team will continue to develop a more detailed delivery plan to ensure it is smart, measurable, and achievable.
We will return to present the strategy and delivery plan to the Senior Leadership Team, Strategic Planning Group, and Integration Joint Board in 2025.
Once the strategy has been approved, it will be published on the HSCP website and shared widely.
