Falkirk Learning Disability Strategy
Falkirk Health and Social Care Partnership (HSCP) delivers adult social care services and community health services in the Falkirk area so people can get the right care and support whatever their needs, at the right time and in the right setting.
Over the next few months, the Falkirk Learning Disability Team will be developing a five-year strategy and delivery plan to improve outcomes for people living with learning disabilities in the Falkirk area.
We want to hear the views of people living with learning disabilities and their carers/families as well as staff to help inform the strategy and the development of local learning disability services.
If you have any questions, please contact: HSCPComms@falkirk.gov.uk
Phases
Developing a local strategy
We want to hear people’s views to help inform the development of a local strategy and delivery plan.
We will be hosting Conversation Cafés in June as an opportunity for people to share their ideas. These events are for people with a learning disability or people who provide support to someone with a learning disability as a carer or family member. If you are interested, then please sign up to one of our events.
We are also keen to hear from staff to support the development of the delivery plan. If you provide professional support to people with learning disabilities then please complete the survey by 21 June.
