A new strategic vision for Falkirk’s health and social care services
Falkirk Health and Social Care Partnership’s Integration Joint Board is developing its next strategic plan, which will set the future direction for social work services and community adult health and social care services.
As one of 31 integration bodies in Scotland, the Board is responsible for making sure health and social care support is linked together.
The Partnership’s current plan, Creating a Healthier Falkirk, is to be replaced with a new strategy later this year.

Phase 2: Share a draft plan
We're seeking feedback on the draft vision and priorities for our new strategic plan, which have been informed by views shared so far. A survey will be open from 3 August until 18 September. We will also engage directly with communities, partners, and local groups through a range of meetings and in-person events.

Our draft vision
A vision is a statement that describes what we want to achieve over the medium to long term.
The Partnership’s proposed 2036 vision is: "Local people can live well and independently, supported by accessible services that work together and focus on prevention."
We want to know whether this draft vision feels meaningful, realistic and relevant to the people and communities of Falkirk and its district area.
Our draft priorities
To help us achieve our vision, we are proposing three main priorities for the next ten years:
1.Living well, staying independent and connected
Together, we will support people to take greater control of their health and wellbeing. This will be supported by services which focus on early intervention and prevention, maximising, independence, and strong community networks.
2.Finding and using the right care
Together, we will support people to access the right care at the right time by making services easier to understand, navigate and use.
3.Caring together for a sustainable future
Together, we will build a sustainable future for care by working together; supporting people, carers, communities and staff to each play their part.
