Falkirk Alcohol and Drug Partnership
Falkirk Alcohol and Drug Partnership (ADP) plans local support services, informs prevention, education, and licensing decisions. It challenges stigma and promotes understanding of the issues which can prevent people from accessing help and support.
Over the next few months, Falkirk ADP will be developing a three-year strategy and delivery plan as well as a Lived Experience Panel.
We want to hear the views of people with lived experience to help inform the strategy and the development of services within Falkirk.

Conversation Café and Lived Experience Panel
Falkirk Alcohol and Drug Partnership (ADP) are hosting a Conversation Café to gather insight and feedback from the recovery community. This event is an opportunity for us to take stock of what we're currently doing well and talk about what needs to change moving forward as we develop a three-year strategy and delivery plan.
Work is also progressing to develop a Lived Experience Panel. The Falkirk ADP Lived Experience Panel will represent the voices of those with lived experience of treatment and recovery services in the decision-making processes of the ADP.
The Lived Experience Panel is for anyone who has a passion to help drive change in alcohol and substance use services in Falkirk. You must be over the age of 18 to join. This panel is open to:
- individuals with lived experience (people currently or no longer accessing services)
- staff with lived experience employed in services
- support workers
- carers and family members that have been impacted by alcohol and substance use
More information about the Lived Experience Panel will be provided at the event on Thursday 30 May. Following the event, we will hold initial conversations with people as we co-design and develop the panel.
If you have any questions, please email: HSCPComms@falkirk.gov.uk.
