Employer equality outcomes for consultation

The Public Sector Equality Duty requires public authorities to have due regard to certain equality considerations when exercising their functions, like making decisions. One requirement under the specific duties is to publish equality outcomes every four years and report on progress every two years – these must include employer equality outcomes. You can see our current equality outcomes in our mainstreaming report

The purpose of this consultation is to let you know about our proposed employer equality outcomes for 2025-29. We have drafted these outcomes based on our obligations under the Equality Act and Public Sector Equality Duty, our workforce strategy and Fair Work First requirements. We would welcome your views on any of the outcomes.
