Denny, Dunipace and Dennyloanhead Community Action Plan – 5-Year Review

The Community Empowerment (Scotland) Act 2015 requires all Community Planning Partnerships to develop an improvement plan for areas where there are higher levels of deprivation or disadvantage.

The Denny, Dunipace and Dennyloanhead CAP was published in 2022. The Plan was developed through a range of events, speaking to residents about what is important to them and what they think should be done to improve their area.

The Falkirk Community Planning Partnership is now looking to review this community action plan with the Denny, Dunipace and Dennyloanhead community.

The Community Planning Team are reviewing the Denny Dunipace and Dennyloanhead Community Action Plan (CAP) because it is approaching the middle of its 10-year lifecycle.

We want the community to examine all the actions contained within the CAP and tell us whether they still resonate. Are they still fit for purpose? Should some of them be replaced? Is there anything missing?

We will be visiting local groups and events and conducting a survey. The survey will be live on this site on Saturday 30 May 2026, and we will also be at the Denny & Dunipace Gala Event that day too.

If you would like to be involved or would like more information, please get in touch by email to communityplanning@falkirk.gov.uk.
