Community Benefit Request Submission Form
If you are a member of a Falkirk-based community group/third sector organisation and would like to make a Community Benefit Request for consideration, please complete the following Submission Form.
What are Community Benefits?
Companies awarded Council contracts above a certain value can offer social, environmental, and employability support, helping them to give back directly to the people of Falkirk. As part of its commitment to Community Wealth Building, Falkirk Council considers the inclusion of such supports, or Community Benefits (CBs), across procurement exercises valued at £50,000 and above.
Delivery of CBs is monitored and managed through close working across relevant Falkirk Council teams. Further information can be found on the Falkirk Council website.
"The aim is to maximise the benefits being delivered to Falkirk Council communities through our contracts."
Our Approach to Community Benefits
As outlined in the Council’s Procurement Strategy the CB approach taken by the Council aims to develop a CB list for use by communities and contractors. The list is a collection of Requests made by community groups and third sector organisations, which is then shared with contractors – ensuring that the benefits delivered for Falkirk are those really needed and wanted by citizens.
Aligning with the Community Engagement Strategy 2025-2028, our approach to CBs enables increased transparency, while also empowering communities to realise improved opportunities. This will work to mitigate aspects identified within the Falkirk Council Plan for 2021 to 2030: working in partnership with communities; poverty; mental health and wellbeing; substance use; gender-based violence; and economic recovery. We therefore strongly encourage applications from groups/organisations who aim to address these issues.

Why we have a Submission Form?
- This form lets community groups/organisations clearly explain their Request, including what support they need, why it is needed, and who will benefit.
- It helps Falkirk Council check that each Request is eligible before it is shared with contractors.
- The information collected allows contractors to understand community need and choose Requests they can support.
- It ensures that the Council has accurate details about your organisation so the process is fair, transparent, and well-managed.
What information does the Submission Form ask for?
- Basic information about your organisation, including contact details and status.
- A short description of your group.
- A clear explanation of your Request.
- Required supplementary documents, including your constitution, recent bank statements, and your latest examined accounts. Please note that you will be required to upload these documents while completing the online survey. If you would prefer to submit physical copies, see the relevant address below:
