HSCP Transformation: Community Bedded Care Review

Falkirk Health and Social Care Partnership is undertaking a series of projects to understand what support people need now and in the future. We also want to know if our services are ready to meet those needs.

A review of bedded care services in the local community is one of the projects. This includes support delivered in Falkirk Community Hospital Ward 5, Bo’ness Community Hospital Wards 1 and 2, Summerford House, Cunningham House, Burnbrae, Grahamston House, and Strathcarron Hospice.

We will publish our findings and ideas about how services could change to meet future needs. No decisions will have been made at this stage. There will be a six-week public consultation period, seeking your feedback about any proposals to change services.

The consultation period may include:

  • Public survey(s)
  • Focus groups
  • In-person information sessions within the service(s)
  • Community information sessions (for example, in local libraries and community venues)

All feedback received during the evidence gathering phase and the 6-week consultation period will be carefully considered before final proposals are developed.
