Camelon Community Action Plan
The Community Planning Partnership are about to commence a Community Action Plan in the Camelon area. A community action plan (CAP) is a participatory tool that helps community members identify and address their problems, needs and potential. It also aims to encourage community involvement and management of their environment. A community action plan can include various programs and activities that are designed to improve the quality of life and wellbeing of the community.
The CAP will be developed throughout 2024 by a Working Group comprised of a mixture of community members, volunteers and professionals from statutory and third sector organisations.
Phases
Community Engagement
During this phase, the Working Group will plan a program of community engagement. The group will aim to engage with as many people in the community as possible in a variety of different ways. This may include in-person, online, at events, visiting established groups and conducting surveys and polls.
