Callendar Park Management Plan

Callendar Park is recognised as being an important area of greenspace, attracting local visitors as well as from across the UK and abroad. It contains a wealth of recreational, cultural, and historical attractions that combine to provide a unique offer for visitors to enjoy as well as contributing to their sense of wellbeing.
A management plan covering the period 2015-2020 set a clear vision and objectives to help guide the governance, management, and development of the park. However, a new plan now needs to be developed to cover the next 10-year period.
Following a review process, a series of workshops and focus meetings with both internal and external stakeholders, several proposals have been identified for potential inclusion within this new plan.
These proposals are now out for 6-week public consultation during November/December 2023 to gain feedback from Falkirk area residents and park users. Information will be available within Callendar House and online – take a look and let us know what you think.

Feedback & Progression Phase
The consultation results will be analysed and used to inform the development of final version of the management plan where feasible. The Plan will then be submitted to Falkirk Councils Executive Committee for approval in spring/summer 2024.
A summary of the engagement findings is attached below.
