Respondents found the revised policy format supported by How to Guides to be helpful and were clear on how absence is notified/ recorded and managed.
In response to specific feedback, a number of changes were made to the policy documentation including:
- Changes to the wording of absence monitoring arrangements to be clearer regrading the move to Stage 2 monitoring and also when a return to monitoring may be appropriate after the expiry of monitoring periods
- Included reference to Trauma Informed training / support
- Additional guidance in relation to contact during periods of long term absence
